Where and when the sample is taken matters as much as the analysis. A sample from a dead leg, or drawn immediately after a chemical slug, describes something other than the system.

The parameters that drive decisions
Hardness, alkalinity, chloride, sulphate, silica, iron, conductivity, pH and microbiological indicators between them determine scaling tendency, corrosivity and the treatment approach that follows.

Interpretation, not just results
A results sheet is not an answer. Reading it against the metallurgy, temperatures, cycles and duty of the actual system is what converts data into a treatment decision.
